Our Management Committee and Staff

Our Management Committee (The Approved Provider) is made up of parents, family members and interested community representatives. The management committee work in collaboration with the director and staff to ensure the ongoing viability of the preschool.
Early childhood teachers, educators and office manager employed at Pambula Preschool are highly trained with years of experience in working across a range of early childhood services. They have opportunities to attend regular professional development courses to update their existing knowledge, to keep abreast of current research and developments within the early childhood sector, and to continually improve the high standards of care and education delivered.

Our early childhood teachers are university qualified and accredited to teach in NSW.  All educators interact with children in ways that ensure the children:

  • are guided towards positive and responsible behaviour.
  • are guided towards positive and responsible behaviour.
  • can freely choose experiences, to problem solve and have access to a variety of authentic and meaningful learning experiences; and
  • are encouraged and supported towards self-reliance and the development of positive self-esteem.

High educator to child ratios is a unique feature of Pambula Preschool. Each class is led by a university-trained teacher who is supported by knowledgeable educators with years of experience. Research shows that preschools with qualified and experienced early childhood staff are better able to help children reach social, emotional and cognitive outcomes in early childhood.
